Douglas Bader Douglas Bader was a fighter pilot in world war two and was a right fucking maddog. He had previously crashed a plane whilst showing off his skills at an airbase, and smashed both his legs off. Even though he nearly died in the crash, he still fought in the war. He even became a squadron leader, fucking up numerous nazis until he managed to crash again in 1941. Even with no legs, he repeated tried to escape. He was eventually released at the end of the way. Respect.
